About
Every company that uses AI has obligations under the EU AI Act
Whether you build your own models or simply run ChatGPT, an HR tool or marketing automation, the obligations apply. It is the deployer, not only the provider, who answers for risk assessment, human oversight and transparency. AI and Shine gives you one place to see every AI tool, understand its risk, and get the documentation ready.
Our mission
The EU AI Act is the most comprehensive AI regulation in the world and it already applies. AI literacy has been required since February 2025 and transparency obligations since 2 August 2026. The main Annex III high-risk requirements apply from 2 December 2027, but the work they demand, tool inventory, risk classification and oversight, does not get easier with time. For most companies this is hundreds of pages of legal text and one question: where to start. AI and Shine turns the regulation into action: clear steps in the right order, documents prepared from your own data, and a living system that keeps you compliant as the rules and your stack change. The platform and the process handle most of the operational work; where a legal opinion is needed we bring in a separate review by a qualified partner.
Clarity over complexity
Every feature is designed for business operators, not privacy lawyers. Plain language explanations. No jargon. No assumed expertise.
Living compliance
Regulations change. Vendors update DPAs. New tools get adopted. A static PDF can't keep up. We deliver a system that evolves with your company.
Honest guidance
We tell you what applies and what doesn't. We never manufacture urgency or exaggerate risk. Your trust is more important than any upsell.
Why we built this
When the EU AI Act was published in July 2024, we saw the same pattern we'd seen with GDPR: a groundbreaking regulation met by confusion, expensive consultants, and companies paralyzed by complexity. We built AI and Shine because we believe every company deserves a clear, affordable path to compliance — not just the ones with €250K legal budgets.
Who runs your project
We are not an anonymous team. A named person runs the rollout, sets the scope, validates the risk classification and answers for the quality of the documents you receive.

How we hold quality, and where our scope ends
The expert reviews, the platform prepares
The platform drafts the documents and proposes a classification. Scope, risk level and policy content always pass through the expert and are approved with you.
Versioning and approvals
Every document carries a change history and the moment the client approved it. It is clear what applied when, and it can be shown if you are asked.
When a legal partner is needed
Our scope is the operational preparation and maintenance of compliance, not individual legal advice. Where such advice is needed we bring in a separate review by a qualified partner and price it separately.
